Two years after the success of “Failles” (platinum record and two consecutive Victoires de la Musique awards, including Female Artist in 2021), Pomme returns in 2022 with a new album, “Consolation.” Oscillating between the desire to talk about her childhood and about women who inspire her, the two subjects logically intertwine in this new work entirely signed by Claire Pommet, who is also the album’s producer. Written in Burgundy, in Paris, in Montreal, on Île d’Orléans in Quebec, and also in Ontario, “Consolation” was first conceived as a piano-vocal album, to which were later added the synthetic and electronic tones Pomme aspired to.
