The 9-member band Nubiyan Twist embarks on a new musical odyssey with their vibrant fourth album "Find Your Flame." Across 12 tracks, the band seamlessly blends global grooves, soul, and jazz; skillfully interwoven with electronic elements, horn melodies, and spontaneous improvisation. The album marks a significant evolution for the band as they feature Sheffield-based singer Aziza Jaye prominently, adding a new dimension of RnB to their sound.
This intoxicating and sunny release is dotted with impressive collaborations, including music legends Nile Rodgers and Seun Kuti who bring their disco and afro-beat mastery, respectively.
Embracing the roots of British sound system culture, "Find Your Flame" takes dynamic turns, from frenetic rhythm to thoughtful lyricism and lo-fi beats.
