A multidisciplinary artist also known as Koo Des, NSDOS develops a singular body of work at the crossroads of dance, experimental music, and technological creation. After studying dance, he very early on sought to generate his own sounds to accompany his movements. By diverting digital tools and inventing hybrid devices, he redefines the contours of electronic music. A radical approach that earned him the nickname “techno hacker.” NSDOS captures living data - human movements, biological flows, or signals from the plant world - using sensors, which he transforms into sound material. Before becoming a label in 2019, Upton Park had already been working behind the scenes since 2003 as a music publisher alongside French songwriters with diverse personalities (rock, pop, electro, hip-hop, indie...) With no geographical or musical boundaries, the label now stands out strongly in the cultural landscape with force (Matmatah, Stuck in the Sound, Nosfell), boldness (Bigger, La Battue, Rose Tiger, Dead Chic), and sometimes even radicalism (NSDOS, Muet, TH/S /S SH/T, Svinkels).
