Three languages, three instruments, three artists, for a unique musical identity. Three musicians join their talents on the shores of the Mediterranean, in Valencia, Spain: Nesrine Belmokh, Franco-Algerian singer and cellist (Valencia Opera, Cirque du Soleil, D. Barenboim’s West Eastern Divan Orchestra), Matthieu Saglio, French cellist (“the cello with a thousand accents,” concerts in more than 30 countries) and David Gadea, Valencian percussionist (regular collaborator with major names in jazz or flamenco). NES’s music moves between jazz, traditional Arabic music and pop. Their songs, in Arabic, French and English, brimming with grace and emotion, are the result of personal introspection and the three musicians’ creative experiences.
