Abandoning Dublin with a broken heart to go compose an album alone with his computer and only at night in a tiny guest room in LA. It was unlikely that young Jack Colleran aka Mmoths would return with a record for Saturday nights at Macumba in his luggage. Sharing with his elders Richard James of Aphex Twin or Kevin Shields of My Bloody Valentine, Irish roots and an unrestrained taste for ambient and distortion, Mmoths went to autopsy this fallen love in the rawest emotion. As strong as a good dose of lexomil swallowed during a rave.
