A sensitive and luminous debut album. With Tout bas, ML unveils an intimate and delicate first album, somewhere between bedroom pop and indie folk. Through ten sensitive and warm tracks, the Brussels-based singer explores human fragilities, the passage of time, the bonds that heal, and the vital impulses that bring us back to the light. Carried by modest songwriting and an unadorned voice, Tout bas finds a subtle balance between softness and intensity, evoking Iliona, Pomme, Julia Jacklin, Faye Webster, and Françoise Hardy. Tout bas is an album written in a low voice, but it resonates for a long time.
