C’est with this first album that Miossec managed to establish his style, a style that owes nothing to anyone: renouncing the wordplay that usually invades French chanson, Miossec speaks a raw language, with a variable and hesitant meter (he seems to force his verses into the melody), all accompanied by simple acoustic guitars. Completely bare, Miossec amazes the world, and his cover of Johnny Hallyday, La fille à qui je pense, is to be ranked among the best there are.
