Mickey Baker is the greatest R & B session guitarist of all time (as well as one half of Mickey & Sylvia). He made many solo recordings through the years and this set assembles his recordings for Savoy (1952), Groove (1954), Rainbow (1955), MGM (1956) and Vik (1957). The titles include 'Guitar Mambo', 'Stranger Blues', 'Down', 'Shake Walkin'', 'Greasy Spoon' and the classic rock guitar ""Spinnin' Rock Boogie". As a bonus, there are five unreleased sides by Mickey & Sylvia that were not on our classic Mickey & Sylvia set.
