Following on from the previous album We Celebrate Freedom Fighters !, which addressed certain key figures in our history who fought throughout their lives against all forms of obscurantism, discrimination, exclusion and injustice, Sébastien Texier and Christophe Marguet evoke with Célébration the strong and positive moments in the history of humanity. This second part of the diptych draws inspiration from major historical events that gave the world a surge of freedom and hope. Deeply rooted in jazz, this dynamic music is also strongly oriented toward the colors of contemporary music. Mainly drawn from the acoustic sounds of the tuba, saxophone and drums, it also feeds on the electric sounds of the guitar, to create a compact and enveloping overall sound.
