Premier album released on Pete Waterman’s PWL label in 1988.
This special edition includes the singles "I Just Can't Wait", "Positive Reaction", "Boys And Girls" and "Victim Of Pleasure", with the addition of a later version, the 1989 Mandy cover of the Human League classic "You Don't Want Me Baby?".
Exclusive bonus tracks have been selected directly from the PWL archives. Long considered a mere rumor, an unreleased Hi-NRG cover of Twinkle’s 1964 hit "Terry" and the original version of Mandy from Kylie Minogue’s hit "Got To Be Certain" are accompanied by rare mixes of the five singles. These include a true Balearic classic: the cool and airy jazz version of "Mandy's Theme (I Just Can't Wait)".
The complete CD booklet includes the full lyrics, additional photos and discography, as well as a brand-new essay by PWL expert Tom Parker, responsible for several past Kylie Minogue releases.
A successful model, Mandy was only 16 when she launched her music career, but media interest focused on her personal life and UK chart success proved elusive. However, she recorded major hits internationally, notably in Europe and Japan, and her album remains one of the favorites of many 80s pop fans.
