A young self-taught Franco-Australian, Malo' signs his first album on the Columbia label! Malo' is a singer-songwriter who is set to make his mark on the French music scene in 2017, with his new album “Be / Être”. Rich in exceptional collaborations with Jean-Louis Aubert, Charlie Winston, Pierre Guimard (Lilly Wood and The Prick), Craig Silvey (Arcade Fire, Florence + The Machine, Arctic Monkeys), Vincent Ségal and even Albin de la Simone, Malo's album speaks to us with originality and passion about his life, his dreams and his sorrows. He boldly bridges the gap between epic, ultra-positive Anglo-Saxon pop and a more touching, beautifully crafted French chanson. Authentic and often moving, this album is a reflection of Malo': “For me, ‘Be / Être’ reconciles my two identities, this French/English duality. Growing up in France with my father. Then leaving for Australia to be with my mother in a totally different world.” At 23, Malo' has finally chosen to be himself. Madly.
