Machine Head returns with their 9th album, once again demonstrating a band fully in control of their talent. Indeed, a few tracks are enough to realize that the bar has been set very high by the band. The sound is huge and each track is a true time bomb. The typical harmonics of the band are still very much present and Robb Flynn skillfully alternates between aggressive singing and clear, melodic, and enchanting parts. An ambitious album, darker and more powerful that will not leave anyone indifferent.
