De la même manière qu’on ressent le besoin de reprendre une conversation là où on l’avait laissée, parfois on se rend compte qu’on n’a pas encore tout dit dans un album, it is time to put a coin back into the jukebox...
5-star casting for this new record by Lescop AFTER PARTI, a way for him to bring new elements to an open conversation launched in February 2024 and endorsed by the media: Rolling stones, Libération, les inrocks…
We find there the director of «Rêve Parti» Thibault Frisoni, collaborator of Bertrand Belin and Franky Gogo, ever more inspired but also ultra-trippy remixes by Yuksek as well as Baida Baida and Kenzi Bourras from Acid Arab.
This deluxe edition digs deeper into the groove that gives Lescop such a special place in the French music industry, in an addictive techno pop cold wave mechanism. After a successful comeback a year ago, Lescop follows up brilliantly, and his new lyrics and musical turns are so powerful that it almost gives us the crazy impression of a wild best of. The tracks Message Acide, Extatique, Mélancolie, just like the remixes, are made for trance. It smells of night, love, sweat, danger and it makes us say that the young modern people are new young modern people. The reissue will be available on February 7, 2025.
