Leprous is a music that is difficult to classify, featuring elements of progressive rock, djent, and pop. The fourth album highly anticipated by fans, we wondered how these young Scandinavian prodigies would surprise us again. The Congregation is an album less dark and more homogeneous than the previous ones, benefiting from a modern sensitivity that is unmatched, perhaps only by Radiohead. The album stands out for its aesthetics and unique atmospheres. Each track is both hypnotic and romantic, and the choruses are as catchy as they are bright.
