L'Antidote: a breath of beauty against the poison of the world. Recorded in Puglia, in an environment conducive to dreaming and contemplation, Bijan Chemirani, Redi Hasa and Rami Khalifé created L'Antidote, an instrumental repertoire of rare finesse that sets the healing power of music against the poisons of the present times. A master of the Iranian zarb and Persian percussion, which he likes to immerse in jazz, Bijan Chemirani here combines his rhythmic expertise with Albanian cellist Redi Hasa - known for having contributed to the revival of traditional music from southern Italy, as well as alongside Maria Mazzotta, Ludovico Einaudi and Robert Plant - and Lebanese musician Rami Khalifé, who skillfully plays with the boundaries between classical and electro on the keys of his piano. With L'Antidote, the three musicians cultivate hope and beauty on a universal scale.
