A personal selection of music recorded in 2014 during his improvised concerts in Japan, Canada and Europe. If in the past Keith Jarrett’s solo statements reflected the improvisation process unfolding over the course of an evening, this time he chooses to focus on the most revealing moments from six concerts given in Tokyo, Toronto, Paris and Rome. With this new approach, Keith Jarrett presents here the very latest state of his spontaneous musical creation. This release marks Keith Jarrett’s 70th birthday (May 8, 2015), with the simultaneous release of an album on the ECM New Series label dedicated to Samuel Barber’s Piano Concerto and Béla Bartók’s 3rd Piano Concerto (May 4, 2015). In 2015, ECM is also celebrating the 40th anniversary of the legendary album The Köln Concert.
