Considered the kings of “Rock FM” alongside The Eagles and Toto, Journey and Foreigner are back in the spotlight with a joint tour that will bring them to the Palais des Sports in Paris on Thursday, July 7, 2011. The two bands will perform one after the other, so this evening will feature a string of hits that made FM radio’s golden years! But Journey will also take the opportunity to perform some tracks from their new studio album. Neal Schon, one of the band’s founders, says: “It’s a very rock album, and honestly, I love this record. It had been a long time since I had been this satisfied with a Journey record! It’s quite conceptual, with a few tracks that deal with themes related to spirituality. I can’t wait to defend these new songs on stage, just as much as to play all our hits!” Journey became especially well known for hits like Don't Stop Believin (the most downloaded track in iTunes history!) and Anyway You Want It. The band has sold 100,000,000 (!) albums over the course of its career, and was awarded a star in 2005 on the “Hollywood Walk Of Fame”. The group’s latest album, "Revelation", released in 2008, contains some gems such as "Never Walk Away" and "After All These years". Audiences discovered the band’s new singer, Arnel Pineda, during the tour, where he established himself as one of the worthy successors to Steve Perry.
