American guitarist, singer, songwriter and sound engineer, one of the creators of the Tulsa sound; J.J. Cale. Really was produced by Audie Ashworth, the best producer Cale ever had and who knew when to press the record button to capture all the magical moments on tape. For example, the guitar playing that is both restrained and intense, and the seemingly nonchalant vocals on lines like "You get your gun, I'll get mine" with disarming casualness. This created a sound with plenty of dynamism and a raw, intimate feel for his second studio album.
