Amen, the sublime synthesis of twenty years of musical avant-garde. French multi-instrumentalist and producer Gautier Serre celebrates twenty years of career under the name IGORRR, the undisputed master of the most extreme musical fusions: breakcore, baroque, trip hop, metal... nothing escapes him. His fifth album, Amen, is out on September 19, 2025 on Metal Blade Records, and once again pushes the limits of the unlistenable turned exhilarating. Darker, more solemn, this album was conceived with a real choir recorded in a church, driven by sound work of surgical precision. The 12 tracks, including "ADHD" (album single 1 with the video to watch via the YouTube player above, and Gautier's condition) and "Blastbeat Falafel", alternate between frenzied passages and dissonant breaths. Since Spirituality and Distortion (2020), an acclaimed and charting record, IGORRR has never stopped refining his vision: a world where Bach rubs shoulders with Meshuggah, where Aphex Twin meets Cannibal Corpse, and where every note becomes a challenge to the established order. With Amen, IGORRR does not offer an album: he invokes a radical sensory experience, an unclassifiable baroquecore mass, powerful and liberating.
