For a duration of 34 minutes and twelve tracks, the band takes us to the other side, where a dark and dangerous world seems to await us. The short lifespan is not a flaw, as the pace is anything but restful. "Wire" presents itself as a paragon of Horskh's sound. The trio works in a pleasurable industrial metal mostly dominated by electro.
However, one might regret the absence of a venomous ballad, a track that would short-circuit a rather homogeneous set. For the only criticism one could make of "Wire" would be that it burns through its cartridges too quickly at the beginning of the album, leaving the rest somewhat predictable (but never boring).
With "Wire," Horskh proves that it is still plugged into an electro-industrial current. The album is a black flower stripped of aggressive sounds leaning towards electro but with a jubilant spirit. The Franc-Comtois have decided to get to the point with a short but still impactful album. Industrial metal fans will find their satisfaction, and discerning music lovers would do well to lend it their ears.
