First studio album from the leader of The Walkmen! Feat. Rostam Batmanglij (Vampire Week-end), Morgan Henderson (Fleet Foxes), Amber Coffman (Dirty Projectors) & Richard Swift. Since the announcement of their split last December, fans of the New York band have been eagerly awaiting the first album from their charismatic frontman! Written alone on piano in the heart of winter and recorded with all the necessary rock'n'roll energy, "Black Hours" is at once a passionate, personal album, the work of a musician freed from all constraints. Hamilton Leithauser, with his unmistakable raw-edged voice, delivers a record enriched by generous production, orchestrated rhythms, half wild, half crooner.
