The band FRUIT BATS, led by ERIC D. JOHNSON, who is also a member of THE SHINS and CALIFONE, is back with its second album, "Tripper". The album, deliberately conceived as a solitary quest, focuses more on the narrative aspect of the songs. The result is a bittersweet meditation that takes us on the road, makes us leave behind everything we know so as to better help us reinvent ourselves, in the same way as the band on this album.
