Controversial like the first three albums, "Encore" is a direct continuation of "The Eminem Show," sounding a lot like a reminder ("encore" in English). With expertly crafted beats and lyrics not meant for everyone, the tracks "Mosh" and "Just Lose It" stand out, the latter accompanied by a video in which Marshall Mathers harshly mocks Madonna and Michael Jackson, which did not go unnoticed by the former king of pop. "Like Toy Soldiers" recycles samples from "Toy Soldiers," a hit by Martika in the 80s, while "Evil Deeds," which opens the hostilities, "Spend Some Time," and "Crazy In Love" aim to be more autobiographical. Knowing full well that unity is strength, Em is supported by 50 Cent and Nate Dogg in "Never Enough," the aptly named standout track of this substantial release.
