Elegant Weapons is the remarkable heavy metal supergroup that has quickly made its mark on the music scene since forming in October 2022! After a debut album in 2023, they return with their second studio release, Evolution. This quartet of seasoned hard rockers — guitarist Richie Faulkner (Judas Priest), singer Ronnie Romero (Rainbow, MSG), bassist Dave Rimmer (Uriah Heep) and drummer Christopher Williams (Accept) — came together around a shared vision. They developed a unique metal style, marked by punchy riffs, surgically precise solos, powerful rhythms and catchy melodies. With the release of Horns For A Halo in 2023, the world discovered Elegant Weapons. With the attention to detail of a craftsman and an innate talent for writing stadium-ready anthems, Elegant Weapons has evolved at lightning speed and continues its rise with its second album, aptly titled Evolution. Tracks like Evil Eyes, Generation Me or the first single Bridges Burn reveal Elegant Weapons at their most powerful yet. A second album that is decidedly modern and dynamic. Richie Faulkner’s ambition for Elegant Weapons was to create music that transcends the boundaries between classic and modern heavy metal. He envisioned a sound that would combine the influences of legendary bands like Judas Priest and Black Sabbath with elements of Jimi Hendrix’s style, while bringing a fresh twist to it. This ambition is reflected in the band’s music, characterized by powerful riffs, subtle melodies and Faulkner’s determination to push the limits of traditional metal. The use of low tuning and the legendary Marshall Plexi amplifiers gives their sound an undeniable modern edge and offers a contemporary take on classic heavy metal.
