No less impressive than Deep Purple, Fear Factory, Megadeth, Marillion, or Yes, with whom specialists often associate them, Dream Theater could very well captivate the entire rock audience with this double DVD from their latest world tour. It's important to know that when these Americans hit the road, it's no joke: 115 concerts, 105 cities, 35 countries. Enough to satisfy fans of this protein-rich rock, which combines power and musicality, scattered around the globe. Titled Around The World In 180 Minutes, the first DVD actually offers more than three hours of concert footage, and the second, as is often the case when the offering is generous, is reserved for a documentary, music videos, and a guided tour of the stage and backstage. A photo gallery completes this program that Dream Theater wanted to oversee themselves through drummer Mike Portnoy, the artistic director of the project.
