A true legend, Dr John is the soul, the guiding figure of all the music of New Orleans: Jazz, Blues, Swing. Pianist, producer, songwriter, he has inspired several generations of musicians, including one of the most famous, since he was one of Hugh Laurie’s inspirations for his blues album! This new album marks a new turning point for Dr John, since it is his first collaboration with the famous Dan Auerbach, one half of the Black Keys duo, a collaboration that takes Dr John far from his native Louisiana to Nashville, where the album was recorded with a lively team of young musicians brought together for the occasion by Dan.
