JP Saxe returns to the essentials. The musician sets aside all sophistication to return to the foundations of his artistic journey: songwriting and his instrument of choice, the piano. Recorded over nine months with his longtime collaborators — Ryan Marrone, TJ Whitelaw and Alex “Xela” Sutton — in several cities and countries, this album is the rawest and most personal of his career. It is no coincidence that it is also his first independent album. Through his lyrics, Saxe shares the lessons he has learned from love and loss, hope and personal growth. For its release, Saxe is partnering with Stem to rely on their international network and grow his fan community around the world. With a major digital- and image-focused marketing campaign, a U.S. press team led by Jason Davis, nearly two million fans worldwide and a tailor-made tour in the works, Saxe returns to his roots and invites the whole world to follow him.
