A2H’s return with a great Rap album. Featuring, among others, Jungle Jack, Zek, Dau, Benjamin Epps, Dinaa and Ferdi. With Les gosses effrayés, A2H returns to his roots with this perfectly produced rap album. The album kicks off with the banger Pozoblanco before moving straight into Pourquoi 26 as a duo with Zek, a track that nods to Busta Flex’s Pourquoi ?. The title track Les gosses effrayés is a superb song on which A2H, after his verse, leaves all the space to star saxophonist Ferdi. With Focus, A2H brings in the sharp pen and heavy hitter Benjamin Epps. Another highlight of the album is the duo with Jungle Jack, punch after punch, as well as the one with Jeremiah, Ma garce. Canadian singer Blynk, discovered alongside Damso, is also featured on No Love for a more new R&B-Rap track. Alongside Swiss singer Mia Oud, we also naturally find singer Dinaa, signed to A2H’s label, on the surprising track Berline noire. The album closes with Daddy’s Room, marking the new musical and personal era A2H is now entering. The album is entirely produced by A2H and Clyde Bessi in a very organic vein reminiscent of The Roots, Mac Miller, Kendrick Lamar, J. Cole. On this new album, A2H sincerely addresses the concerns of a man his age, in his thirties, between the challenges of becoming a parent, adult responsibilities, the fears that arise, but also past mistakes and love stories, whether successful or not. This new album also reveals a deep, underlying commitment on many tracks: a fight against oppression, fascism, and racism. A2H takes antifascist, anti-war positions here, infusing the album with this social awareness. All these personal and committed themes enrich this project, making it both introspective and firmly turned toward the world. Features: Jungle Jack, Benjamin Epps, Zek, Dau, Blynk, Jeremiah, Dinaa, Mia Oud and Ferdi.
