For more than ten years, this group of exceptional musicians has been committed to a fundamental principle: uncompromising musical quality. Refusing any easy way out, they chose to take their destiny into their own hands by organizing weekly concerts themselves, independently. This collaborative approach has allowed them to cultivate their individual talents in the service of a shared musical vision. Today, the collective displays remarkable activity and versatility. It regularly invites renowned soloists, creates original scores for silent films, and develops relevant projects exploring the key figures and movements in recent and contemporary musical history. What is particularly impressive is that every aspect — from artistic direction to logistics — is managed collectively, bearing witness to their deep commitment to shared responsibility. It is hard to imagine a musician who embodies the spirit of the Agus collective better than Jorge Rossy. His approach to music — and perhaps even to life — reflects the group’s guiding principles: sharing, active listening, and total commitment. Rossy’s music is a marvel: both sophisticated and complex, it remains wonderfully accessible and communicative. Mario Raja’s arrangements, combined with the contributions of all the members of the collective, blend perfectly with Jorge’s artistic vision to create a sound of great coherence and real seductive power.
