MIKE CAMPBELL AND THE DIRTY KNOBS RELEASE THEIR FIRST ALBUM. 'Wreckless Abandon', the long-awaited debut album from renowned songwriter and guitarist Mike Campbell (Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers, Fleetwood Mac) with his band Dirty Knobs, pushes the boundaries of affinities, imagination, and genres to record a 13-song album saturated with rock and roll that is as authentic as it is raw. Alongside Campbell, the Dirty Knobs bring together Jason Sinay on guitar and vocals (Neil Diamond, Ivan Neville), Lance Morrison on bass (Don Henley), and Matt Laug on drums (Slash, Alanis Morissette). If all the songs are written by Campbell, the album was produced in collaboration with George Drakoulias (The Black Crowes, The Jayhawks). Singer, songwriter, guitarist Chris Stapleton makes a few appearances, as does Benmont Tench, founder of Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers. In addition, Klaus Voormann, famous for the cover of the Beatles' Revolver, designed the album artwork.
