‘Nothing’ is the third album by Darkside, the collaborative project of electronic music producer Nicolas Jaar and composer and multi-instrumentalist Dave Harrington, now officially joined by drummer Tlacael Esparza. Across 9 magnetic tracks, the trio slips through the cracks of convention with serpentine guitars, otherworldly balances, and cavernous drums. ‘Nothing’ is marked by its haunted rhythms and distorted vocals from which an eerie beauty emerges.
