Originally released in 2004, Faces marked a decisive turning point for Chris Caffery as a solo artist. Known for his work with Savatage and the Trans-Siberian Orchestra, Caffery used this album to reveal a more personal and authentic side of his songwriting. Blending powerful riffs and melodic depth, the album moves between punchy metal, introspective moments, and emotionally charged storytelling. Tracks like “The Mold” and “Pisses Me Off” highlight both aggression and vulnerability, reflecting the album’s central theme: confronting the many “faces” that live within oneself. This reissue gives new momentum to a record that stands out as one of Caffery’s most sincere and varied works—raw, passionate, and uncompromising. A must-have for fans of classic American metal, both sensitive and incisive. For fans of SAVATAGE, TRANS SIBERIAN ORCHESTRA.
