After a Victoire de la Musique in 2015, a monumental press campaign for his latest album 'Ghost Surfer', and nearly 200 concerts, Cascadeur has, for the past few years, multiplied eclectic collaborations with cinema: with Laurent Tuel, Toledano & Nakache (his track 'Meaning' illustrates a memorable scene from their film 'Le sens de la fête'), Edouard Pluvieux, and even trailers for Michel Gondry, Jalil Lespert or Ryan Murphy... To write the lyrics for his new album, which he has titled 'Camera', he therefore drew from the sources of cinema (that of the 70s-80s): stories of violence and eroticism, espionage and manipulation, obsession and night, whose stylized beauty hovers over the album. Mixed by Maxime Le Guil (Morrissey, Christophe, Justice, Camille...), 'Camera' will be released on March 30.
