Keeping all the elements that made their 2021 debut album so compelling - the raw energy, frantic riffs, gut-wrenching lyrics, and the searing voice of singer Crow Lotus - Capra has shifted into high gear on this album, with stronger songwriting and a determination to reach the next level. Coming primarily from a hardcore background, giving listeners a sense of nostalgia for the sounds of the late 90s and early 2000s hardcore and punk scenes, but also incorporating metal elements that complement the overall tone, everything the band does on Errors resonates with emotion; nothing feels forced. Formed in 2016 by Harper and drummer Jeremy Randazzo, who had previously worked together on multiple projects, the duo sought to focus on something new by creating 2021's In Transmission. The initial idea was a band that would feel fresh while giving listeners a sense of nostalgia for the sounds of the late 90s and early 2000s hardcore and punk scenes.
