BRIAN SETZER and his rockabilly trio (drummer BERNIE DRESEL and bassist RONNIE CRUTCHER) recorded “13” this summer in California. The album features 13 fairly varied new songs: rock & roll, rockabilly, southern rock (DRUGS & ALCOHOL), 80s new wave (“ROCKET CATHEDRALS”), and even metal (“BACK STREETS OF TOKYO”).... Also worth noting is the participation of STRAY CATS drummer SLIM JIM PHANTOM on the track “REALLY ROCKABILLY”.
