Actress, songwriter, and R&B/pop singer Brandy, who has received numerous Grammy Awards, was one of the most popular multidisciplinary stars of the 90s, thanks to her consistent presence on the pop and R&B charts, her famous sitcom Moesha, the success of the television film Cinderella, which gathered over 60 million viewers, and her role as a judge on the hit show America’s Got Talent. With over 40 million albums sold worldwide, she is, according to the RIAA, one of the best-selling artists in the history of American music. In 2015, she made her Broadway debut in the record-breaking musical Chicago, portraying Roxie Hart. Finally, her latest single featuring Daniel Caesar, nominated for the Grammy Award for Best R&B Performance of the Year, has amassed no less than 36 million streams and numerous number one spots on American radio charts. It is safe to say that the anticipation from fans and the entire industry is immense for this new studio album, the first since Two Eleven, released 8 years ago.
