BODEGA’s next album, All Inside Aquarium, sees the band expanding well beyond their minimalist post-punk origins toward anthemic, airy rock, without the “indie.” Sonically, the band aimed for a Stone Roses and Jane’s Addiction sound from the late ’80s/early ’90s, with more guitar riffs and solos. The songwriting is deliberately more focused on the personal, the poetic, and playfulness.
