Each album always starts with a feeling that I try to shape into sound. This time, the feeling was about landing (after my last album Utopia, which was all about the island in the element of clouds, air, and no bass) on the earth and digging my feet into the ground. It was also woven into how I experienced the present; this time, about 7 billion of us did it together by nesting in our homes in quarantine. Being in the same place long enough for us to take root. My new album "Fossora" is about that. It’s a word I invented. It’s the feminine of fossore (digger, excavator, ditcher), so in short, it means "she who digs" (in the ground). "Fossora" is an album by Bjork, released in 2022. "Fossora" includes among others the tracks: "Atopos," "Mycelia," "Fungal City," "Trolla-Gabba," and more.
