Without a doubt one of the most important and influential electronic artists in popular music, Cornish musician Aphex Twin released a stunning series of singles and albums from 1991 onward (and continues to do so today). The early groundbreaking works appeared on the legendary Belgian label R&S Records and were compiled on the compilation Classics, released in 1995, following the worldwide success of the timeless album Selected Ambient Works 85-92. Classics benefits from a long-awaited vinyl and CD reissue with a previously unreleased vinyl cut mastered by the renowned mastering engineer Beau Thomas, and a sheet of R&S Records stickers inserted in the LP sleeves, including the sleeves of the two singles Digeridoo and Xylem Tube, both featured on this compilation. - 30 years since the first pressing in 1995
