Parallèle: the universe of An’Om x Vayn that renews the codes of urban pop After the success of "Astronaute," the rookies of French urban pop An’Om & Vayn present their first studio album "Parallèle" without complexes! Fully produced by Vayn, written and performed by An’Om, this long format aims to be a complete immersion into their unique universe, located at the crossroads of rap, pop, and electro. The explosive title "Rookie" expresses their need to assert their music, and gives way to "Intro (Vertige)," a poignant and intoxicating piece that symbolizes the entry into the album like a leap into the void. "Parallèle," the eponymous title of the project, is a powerful track that gives the album its full meaning: it explores the notion of "parallel worlds," the common thread of the work that shows a symmetry between fantasy and reality, lightness and psychology. An’Om & Vayn draw a first parallel between two tracks, "En équipe" // "Supernova," which presents itself as a symmetry between lightness and mental exploration, a beautiful introduction to the concept. Next comes the duo "Tortuga" // "Sous l’eau," two video excerpts from the album that oppose each other in every way. The first track with tropical flavors describes an idyllic life in the islands, while the second brings back the overwhelming problems of daily life. The artists offer other beautiful combinations of tracks that end with a very beautiful duo "J’dormirai pas" // "Le poids des maux," a narrative encompassing all the promises one would like to keep.
