Idiom is divided into six distinct parts, each exploring the extended techniques of a particular instrument: special fingerings, keying, breath, harmonic sounds, etc. The other four compositions on the first disc feature the regular (and unique) trio of ANNA WEBER, founded in 2013, while Idiom IV, covering the entirety of the second disc, is performed by a chamber orchestra of twelve participants, as skilled improvisers as well as seasoned specialists in the contemporary music field.
