In May 2012, Anathema released Weather Systems, the most acclaimed and successful album of a career that has spanned over two decades. The album received high scores in numerous year-end critics' polls around the world and cemented their reputation as one of the most exciting and progressive bands. Following the album's release, the band embarked on a lengthy world tour. The European leg of the tour opened with a unique triumphant show in the ancient Roman theater of Philippopolis with the Plovdiv Philharmonic Orchestra in September 2012. Directed by the renowned filmmaker Lasse Hoile (Steven Wilson, Porcupine Tree, Opeth, Dream Theater), Universal captures the magic of the event in a 2-disc (CD/DVD) box set that will be presented in a digipack.
