Urgent and abrasive, 'Loon' is sharp, exasperated and filled with overwhelming fury. The melancholic melodies twist into dissonance and aggression. Crystal-clear beauty is inhabited by bitterness and rage. The band’s instinctive hooks are still present, and moments of hope break through from time to time. But it is clear that ABRAMS, like many of us, is angry. For fans of QUICKSAND, TORCHE, CAVE-IN, CONVERGE.
