About
Robin Trower, Iconic British blues-rock guitarist merging classic and modern sounds.
Robin Trower is a British guitarist whose work emerged prominently from the late 1960s. He first gained recognition as a member of Procol Harum, then established himself with his own trio starting in 1972. His style fuses blues-rock with touches of psychedelic and hard rock, featuring a distinctive use of distortion and the wah-wah effect to create emotive guitar sounds. Over the years, he has released multiple studio albums and live recordings on labels like Chrysalis and Provogue, sustaining a career that spans over five decades.
Among his 8 main vinyl releases available today, albums like 'Twice Removed From Yesterday' (1973) and 'Robin Trower Live!' (1976) remain essential vinyl collectibles.
