About
Across studio LPs, live prison recordings and late American Recordings sessions with Rick Rubin, Cash turned a minimal baritone, boom chicka rhythm and moral tension into a durable vinyl language. Collectors tend to split the hunt between early Columbia titles, the Folsom and San Quentin live albums, and the 1994 comeback LP, whose US American Recordings pressing carries catalog numbers 9-45520-1 and 1-45520.
