On the occasion of the 10th anniversary of DOOM (2016), Bethesda and Laced Records are celebrating one of the most significant games of its generation with a new 4LP collector's edition of its cult soundtrack, accompanied by 2LP and 2CD reissues. Composed by Mick Gordon, this work of industrial metal, as experimental as it is devastating, is frequently cited among the best video game soundtracks of all time. Having far exceeded the realm of video games, it has influenced many metal bands and contributed to the emergence of the sub-genre Argent Metal. Awarded at the Game Awards and the D.I.C.E. Awards, this music, as heavy as it is innovative, remains one of the most iconic scores ever created for a video game.
