First vinyl release. Gatefold sleeve. Liner notes. Laser-etched vinyl on side D. Like all the "Image Albums" in the Studio Ghibli series, this one features a collection of tracks evoking the film's universe, created prior to the production of the original soundtrack, considering both Taeko, the 27-year-old heroine, and her younger self in elementary school. Remastered version in 2026 for this vinyl edition.
