For some time now, there has been a sense of effervescence, a surge of energy and adrenaline from young songwriters and young musicians, eager for recognition and not short on technical talent, claiming a new musical approach. A perfect balance between violent polyrhythms and intricate progressive passages, most often atmospheric, "Altered state" is the alloy that comes close to sublimated perception, carried by the flawless performance of singer Daniel Tompkins. Tesseract finally bursts onto the world stage, crowned by its nomination as best band of 2012 by Metal Hammer magazine, and above all by its election as best new progressive band of 2012 by Classic Rock! The reissue of Tesseract’s second album, «Altered State», truly acclaimed by critics. The Deluxe 4LP + 2CD set includes the original album on 2LP, as well as the instrumentals on 2LP (never before released on vinyl). Altered State» was released in 2013, and it is the only album to feature singer Ashe O'Hara. It includes the single «Nocturne», which has been viewed more than 2.7 million times on Youtube.
