About

9 albums including 2022's self-titled, with 2023-2025 releases; key originals priced €8.70-€16.

Founded in 2001 by Cedric Bixler-Zavala and Omar Rodríguez-López after the split of At the Drive-In, The Mars Volta emerged as a force in progressive rock. Their sound is characterized by intricate compositions, intense energy, and sudden shifts between aggressive and delicate passages. The band’s lineup initially included former De Facto members and features a mix of Latin rhythms and experimental rock textures.

Over time, they released nine albums, including 'De-Loused in the Comatorium' (2003), co-produced by Rick Rubin, and the self-titled 'The Mars Volta' (2022). The catalog includes several recent vinyl issues with prices ranging from €8.70 for the 2022 album to €16 for the 2023 release 'Que Dios Te Maldiga Mi Corazon'.
