About
Ozric Tentacles, English pioneers of psychedelic space rock with a rich vinyl discography.
Nine key LPs from 1989 to 2025, from "Pungent Effulgent" to "Curious Corn" — multiple editions tracked.
Ozric Tentacles emerged in the early 1980s as an instrumental space rock and psychedelic rock collective rooted in Somerset, England. Their sound incorporates synthesizers, effects, and experimental approaches that intertwine prog rock, dub, and world music elements. Renowned for complex compositions often featuring long-form jams and ambient interludes, they developed an independent approach to production and touring, maintaining creative control.
The band has released over 20 albums since their formation, with a robust vinyl presence ranging from original pressings in the late 80s and early 90s to recent LPs released on labels such as Kscope and Madfish.
